Telephone Pole Koozie, Part 1

I was going through my closet and junk drawers a few weeks ago looking for stuff to put in my free box and came across a ton of yarn ends. Instead of throwing them out I decided to use all the scrap from previous projects and turn it into one huge project. This might take me a while so we'll do it in parts. Presenting... the beginning of a telephone pole koozie. Neat.

Change Everything

I found a piece of wood (and by found a piece of wood I mean I took liberty with a piece of my apartment that has been laying on my back deck for two years) and painted it with my current motto. I had been planning all along to nail it to a telephone pole somewhere on my street but I didn't have any nails large enough to carry it's weight. Instead I "found" this fabulous tree to lean it upon. I think it does it justice.

I also love the fact that two drunk kids walked by as I was initially trying to nail it into a telephone pole (at 2 o'clock in the morning) and they didn't find a damn thing amiss.

THEM: Hello
ME: Hi
THEM: Goodbye
ME: OK then, bye

My First Free Box

I put out my first free box last night with a little help from a co-conspirator. Although I got the idea initially from the lovely people at the 134 house, I think I did a fabulous job. If any of you lost children feel like putting something in my box, it is located on 20th and Belmont in front of Colonel Sumner's Park.
