Under The Cover Of Light
This isn't really under the cover of night, but seeing as how plants need all the light they can get, I'll give it a pass. I feel like creating life out of dirt and little specs of seed is a kind of miracle that all of us are capable of but few of us take the time to do. I guess it comes from being a farmers daughter, but this need to get my hands dirty every year is an addiction. I think the hardest part of playing God is thinning the plants so the stronger ones have room to grow and flourish. I've always had a tendency to try and keep them all alive, and so they all suffer a little. There might be a metaphor in there somewhere but I'm not sure.
